Words of the Prophets
I stumbled upon this video via Facebook. It touched my heart. I could feel the spirit testify that these men were indeed prophets of our Savior, Jesus Christ. What incredible knowledge this is. If you have 6 minutes-and I'm sure you do since you're reading blogs-watch this.

Justice
Sometimes it's hard to do what you feel is right. It's also hard to do things when no one else steps in and takes his or her place at the bat.
Today I had an experience that really changed how I view things.
I had been stewing about a certain situation for a while now and was becoming extremely bothered.
I know life isn't fair but man I felt like I needed to do something about it.
I did.
I did something that was hard for me. I stepped up to the plate and tried to voice my own opinion and the opinion of others. I am so grateful I found the strength (and encouragement from my husband) to stand up for what I knew was right. I could not back down, that voice inside of me was speaking too strong.
Perhaps nothing will come of what I said but I know I did the right thing. I know that life is not fair but when I see people hurting because of unfair and unjust situations, I can not stand by and let it happen. Now I know I never will. I will always try to be that person that stands up and says what I'm feeling.
The Lord makes things fair in the end. I have to keep that in mind and I have to know things always work out. But by golly I will never just stand by and let life pass me by, especially when it isn't happening the right way.

Dinner
I have decided to start a food blog. SO that's coming soon. I probably won't use this one very much because well, I don't know that anyone reads it and I never have anything interesting to say.
I do however, always have food to write about and recipes to share. I like to think of making dinner as my creative outlet. Or frosting a cake-pumpkin spice to be exact. I'll still probably update you about our lives but mostly you'll find out about what we ate for dinner. Maybe it will be boring but I figure it will be a great way to save recipes and stories because good things whether it be tummies full, milk spilling, or great conversations always happen around dinner time.
