It's funny to watch how children interact. Everyone is so different even at the young ages of 3 and 4. They all have their own little personalities. Some little girls are sassy, and the teacher's helper. Some won't let go of the teachers hand. Some sit at a computer for half an hour, not wanting to talk to others. Some pout. Some smile. Some little boys wrestle each other one minute and the next, they're holding hands, walking to the next activity. Some are leaders. Some shout out answers, while others are just observers. Some listen. Some don't. They are all unique and make me grateful for our differences.
I watched some of these cute, little people and wondered who they would grow up to be? And what was I like as a child? Here. I'll show you:

So maybe I was that teacher's helper who went around and told all the kids it was time to clean up. Maybe I was quiet but liked to giggle a lot. Maybe I liked to have friends. Maybe I liked to dress up. I don't think much changes between the ages of 3 and 20.

ReplyDeleteSo many times I wanted to go back again and spy on those little preschoolers! Once is not enough.
ReplyDeleteMy heart did a little ache-y leap when I saw those cute dress-up photos. And then another ache-y leap when I saw you in russian. It's hard for me to find excuses to dress up these days. And dance around. And have people watch. Enjoy folk dance. It goes so fast!
