I don't ever take pictures. This makes my posts extremely boring and visually unappealing. I just ramble and let's be real, I don't write good, ahem...well. Unfortunately I am not going to make a promise to you that I will change and start carrying my camera around everywhere. I just don't have time.
So here are some words to let you know what we've been doing the past 7 weeks.
SCHOOL
We're always reading, writing and learning. You know you're in the right major when you start applying everything you're learning though right? Tanner has found his new home in writing. His professors are constantly handing him papers back with a huge A+ slathered on the top. He works harder than anyone in his group projects and starts writing assignments three weeks before they're due. His professors also compliment him and one even called him a perfectionist. He took this as a compliment. From that professor, it was.
I construct sweatshirts and literally, I'm like sweating as I'm constructing. I didn't get my material until one week after we were supposed to have it. I heart UPS. I write group papers and then walk around campus looking at the travertine and lighting design. Then I walk through fabric stories feeling like I'm in heaven. I menu plan and then want to cry when every grocery store gets their pumpkin cans recalled. October with no pumpkin treats? Thankfully I managed to already make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bars before this happened. Now I will patiently wait.
We're hoping for Disneyland with my family either during Thanksgiving break or Christmas. I started watching Survivor and it's my new favorite show. We went on a real date last weekend. Dinner at Olive Garden and Captain America. I would highly recommend both. We've been dancing our tails off. First we had World of Dance, then a guest choreographer from Ukraine (she lives in Canada now), learning a new Hungarian suite, performed it for Homecoming Spectacular, walked in the parade, performed for the religion and law symposium, the dance assembly and another guest choreographer from Hungary. Whew. We have only had one weekend off since school started. And we love it.
General Conference was great and we loved spending time with family cooking away.
What else is new...Oh yes. Monday I got a concussion so I am currently in bed. Last night I lost vision, feeling in my face and limbs, and I couldn't control my body. Life is good. I anxiously await the day when I have time to hang pictures, make curtains and actually fold the laundry. We're happy and the last three months have been bliss.
That's why you just have a phone WITH a camera on it- genius. You never forget your camera and it doesn't take time to snap a pic :)
