Two post in one day. This is exciting!!!
I would like to say some things about Pinterest
1. The other night I was getting ready for bed and I hear my husband..."I just pinned something. I don't know what I'm doing. This is confusing." I loved it. I also loved that he pinned a yummy pecan cheesecake something. Good choice dear.
2. I am bothered when married woman...actually all women single or not....pin pictures of men who do not have a shirt on. I promptly stop following that board or person, depending on my mood. Because if men were "pinning" pictures of half naked women it would be pornography. Oh wait. SAME THING FOR GIRLS.
3. I also dislike scanning the food and drink section and see pictures of half naked men because it's under someone's board titled "Yummy". No thanks, I don't like eating humans.
I mostly just wanted to vent about pictures of men that I don't like to see.
Your thoughts?
Oh my gosh, yes. I actually really hate that too, I was just telling my mom about it. I also feel really bad when Dave walks by and I'm on Pinterest and there's a picture of like Ryan Gosling shirtless or something. If the roles were reversed I would obviously flip a lid.

First of all, I LOVE your new blog background. I always thought it was kind of hard to read your other design because it was like white text on a light turquoise background or something--maybe it was just my computer. Either way--super cute! :)
ReplyDeleteSecond of all, I HATE the 1/2 naked man pictures too... almost as much as I hate the 1/2 naked women pictures that other women post that say something about working out, but it's really just a porn picture. Thanks for that... Anyway, I just thought I would take this opportunity to vent as well. :)
Ok, one more thing--I think one of the reasons this bothers me is because they are posting it like they want to work out so they can look like this 1/2 naked, aneorexic looking girl. They're just like the magazines, in my mind, advertising a false perception of beauty. Ok, I'm done now. :)
