So...Here's a new post. Aren't you so excited?
It's the second day of the new semester and I'm already maybe a little stressed. The first week is always like that. I'm taking 17 credits, and t.a.ing (is that a word?) a dance class...So 17.5 credits. Awesome. So amidst all this stress I'm trying to still learn, even if the only thing I'm learning in my classes have to do with the course syllabus' (syllabi?) and grade break downs.
This is what I'm thinking...
The Lord is like the master pitcher in a baseball game and he LOVES throwing curve balls at us. Sometimes we hit them out of the park and sometimes we swing and miss. And most of the time, with these curve balls, I miss. BUT it's not three strikes and you're out! It's 82630571.93618 times and then you're still not out. I'd play that baseball game any day. So, we hit foul balls and sometimes we hit home runs. The point is, we get as many tries as we need. And every time we get better, because someone behind us,(our Savior) is whispering different ways to approach the ball, or hold the bat...different ways for us to improve. And I count myself very lucky to be on His team.
So play the game...and don't you dare give up.
Katrina, you are so wonderful. Thank you for this thought! I always happened to be pretty terrible at baseball myself. Like you said, luckily we get 43985309465+ tries.
