In which I complain about my lack of appetite.
My sister told me she wants me to post more often. I really just don't have very exciting things to share. My mother also wants more pictures (I don't take pictures).
So here is a post for you both...but there may be no pictures.
I found myself the other night scooping up tomatoes out of my chicken minestrone soup and plopping them into my husband's bowl. I don't do that. I don't do that with tomatoes especially. Then I remembered that I was pregnant and the only things that taste the way they used to are chocolate pudding, sherbet, chicken top ramen and nectarinky's (nectarines). Yes, that is what I have been eating for the past two weeks. It's sad really but anything else I make or try to eat I end up gagging on or making ugly faces at because it don't taste normal.
And suddenly I don't like cooking. I have to have my friend come to the store with me so she can go get raw chicken and hide it behind her back the whole way through the store and to the car. And I pick tomatoes out of my soup. WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?
I'm sorry. This is obviously not a happy, rainbow and bubble infested blog post. Could it be the hormones? Probably.
I am not a shopper either. I have never enjoyed shopping for clothes (unless I am with my mother). So now, I have to shop for things for this upcoming baby. I am really excited about the baby but I have no clue where to start with cribs, strollers, etc. I need your help! Any suggestions when looking, what to look for etc? I would greatly appreciate it.
That is really all I have to talk about. Life is good, we're happy in Tennessee. Tanner is working like a crazy man and I do nothing all day except eat chocolate pudding. There's milk in that, right? Calcium is good for me and the child. I don't feel that bad about the pudding now.
And...any suggestions about baby things?
